		<description>@Dan: It would be a real shame if Pandora was forced to close. Their service is innovative and a sign of the potential that the internet offers music and I would be a sorry indictment of the established industry if they stifled that sort of innovation.

		<description>Nice post, and cheers for the link back... It is interesting to see the comparison and context of projects like Muxtape, and Open Tape, the self-hosted version.

I think Blip.fm is slightly safer, in that it does offer a route for legal downloads via Amazon - but it really depends on the definition of the service, and whether it counts as internet radio. If it does, then it&#039;ll face the same charges which have seen Pandora&#039;s boss claim they&#039;re close to closing - double the fees of analogue radio....</description>
