		<description>Regarding the probability calculation I think you meant 1/3 rather than 2/3. In any case I think the answer is actually 1/2 if you take into account also the probability of the statement being made. In both the cases Boy-Girl and Girl-Boy there was a probability of your friend reporting that she had a girl.
